Nancy Rebel is the Director of Content Development at the Sport Information Resource Centre (SIRC) of Canada. After completing her Master’s degree in Library & Information Science, Nancy came to SIRC to combine her two passions – sport and access to knowledge.
Over the past 24 years, Nancy has been responsible for document analysis, description, cataloging and indexing of SIRC’s extensive library collection and world-renowned SportDiscus database.
Her current role includes guiding the development and dissemination of content resources, ranging from many multimedia educational publications to the extensive resource collection. Nancy is committed to supporting sport administrators, coaches, parents, athletes, and participants in developing their full potential through knowledge.
